Established in 1973, the park emerged alongside Urawa Racecourse, which had started operations in October 1947 as a regional racing venue.
The park serves as a gathering space where residents participate in community events and watch horse races throughout the year.
Visitors can reach the park through a 15-minute walk from JR Minami-Urawa Station or take a 5-minute bus ride on race days.
The athletic field inside the racing track opens to the public during non-race days, enabling local residents to exercise within the course perimeter.
