Myokyoji, Buddhist temple in Fushimi-ku, Japan.

The temple grounds contain multiple structures including a main hall with a hip-and-gable roof, priests' quarters, Myoken hall, and bell tower.

Established in 1626 by Hozen-in Nichiko, the temple received land from Matsudaira Sadanori, who controlled Yodo Castle during the Kan'ei period.

The temple belongs to the Hokkeshu Shinmonryu Buddhist sect and maintains traditional ceremonies throughout the year, including New Year prayers and Bon Festival.

Visitors can reach the temple by taking a 10-minute walk from Yodo Station on the Keihan Electric Railway, with clear directional signs along the path.

A pillar in the temple still contains a cannonball from the Battle of Toba-Fushimi during the Boshin War, serving as a physical record of the conflict.
