Masjid Indonesia Tokyo, Islamic prayer center in Meguro-ku, Japan
The four-floor mosque structure spans 600 square meters of built space, with separate prayer areas for men on the first floor and women on the second floor.
Construction of Masjid Indonesia Tokyo started in 2015 through efforts of the Family of Indonesian Islamic Community and support from the Indonesian Embassy in Japan.
The mosque includes a library and cultural center in its basement, serving as a gathering point for Indonesian Muslims residing in the Tokyo metropolitan region.
Located at 4-6-6 Meguro, the mosque remains open 24 hours daily and provides accessibility features including ramps for individuals using wheelchairs.
The second floor prayer space connects to the Republic of Indonesian School in Tokyo hall, enabling large congregational prayers during Friday services and festivals.
