神崎川信號場, Railway signal station in Higashiyodogawa-ku, Japan
Kanzakigawa Signal Station is a staff halt in Higashiyodogawa-ku that controls train movements where the Katamachi freight line intersects with the Osaka Higashi Line. The facility coordinates train crossings and waiting operations without passenger services.
Operations began on December 25, 2018, during test runs of the newly built Osaka Higashi Line section. Management transferred from JR West to Osaka Outer Loop Railway when the line's northern section opened in March 2019.
This facility represents the Japanese railway system's approach to efficient traffic management through dedicated control points separate from passenger stations.
The station is accessible only to railway operations staff and not open to passengers. Access to the facility is restricted to authorized personnel.
The management of this signal station transferred from JR West to Osaka Outer Loop Railway when the northern section of Osaka Higashi Line opened in March 2019.
