Chichibugahama, Coastal beach in Mitoyo, Japan
The sandy beach extends for one kilometer along the Seto Inland Sea, creating a natural mirror effect during low tide periods.
The Chichibu Committee has maintained and preserved the beach environment for over 25 years, ensuring its natural beauty remains intact.
The beach gained nationwide recognition in 2018 when it ranked first in Japan's Sunset View Competition, establishing its status as a photography destination.
Visitors can access the beach through a community bus service from Takuma Station or drive 20 minutes from Sanuki-Toyonaka Interchange via Takamatsu Expressway.
During low tide, the shallow water creates a reflective surface similar to Bolivia's salt flats, producing exceptional photography conditions at sunset.
