The former Aboshi Bank is a three-story structure with stone brick walls and arched doorways as its main design features. Its facade shows a balanced arrangement of windows and classical details across all levels.

Built in 1922, the structure was created when the Aboshi area was growing quickly and needed financial services. It served as the main branch of Aboshi Bank during this period of economic expansion.

The building shows how Western banking design was adapted for Japan during the 1920s, mixing foreign styles with local building methods. Visitors can still see this blend in the architectural details and the way spaces are arranged.

The building now operates as a restaurant, so you can enter and experience the original architectural details from inside. It sits in a central location within the Aboshi district and is easy to find.

This structure is among the few remaining examples of early 20th-century Japanese bank design in the Harima region. Its preserved features make it a rare record of how banks were built during that era.
