The Takenaka Corporation designed this modern complex in 2020, replacing the former Rissei Elementary School that previously occupied the location.
The building incorporates elements of traditional Kyoto townhouse designs while maintaining contemporary architectural principles across its 4,938 square meters.
The complex includes THE Gate Hotel Kyoto Takasegawa by Hulic and provides convenient access to multiple historic sites in downtown Kyoto.
The waterscape garden creates a space where visitors can observe the interaction between water features and plant life against city views.
