Munsu Funfair was an amusement park featuring roller coasters, carousels, and bumper cars along the eastern bank of the Taedong River in Pyongyang. The facility included multiple rides and attractions spread across the site near Chongryu Bridge.
The park was established in 1984 and operated as an amusement venue for nearly 3 decades. It closed in 2013 when the site was redeveloped into a water park.
The park represented one of the few recreational venues where North Korean families could gather for entertainment and social activities.
The venue was accessible by public transportation and located near Chongryu Bridge. Visitors should be aware that the site no longer operates as an amusement park.
The park functioned under state control, making it one of the limited number of official entertainment facilities in North Korea.
