Shar Aūdany

Shar Aūdany is an administrative district in East Kazakhstan Region comprising multiple settlements and rural communities connected by local roads and networks. The territory spans across flat to gently rolling terrain with a mix of agricultural land and smaller urban centers.

The district was part of Semipalatinsk Oblast until 1997, when Kazakhstan implemented administrative reforms to improve regional governance. This reorganization was part of broader changes to the country's local district administration structure.

Charsk serves as the district's administrative center and provides basic services for visitors and residents. The best time to visit is during summer months when roads are in good condition and weather is more favorable for travel.

The district underwent multiple demographic shifts, with population records showing an increase from 64,324 in 1999 to 74,997 in 2009.
