Lipnica Mała, Village in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland
Lipnica Mała extends across a valley near the Slovakian border, surrounded by hills and meadows within the Nowy Targ County administrative region.
The settlement became part of Poland during the 10th century, transferred to Hungarian control for a period, and returned to Polish jurisdiction after World War I.
The village maintains traditional folk practices of the Orava region, with inhabitants preserving local customs through music, crafts, and seasonal celebrations.
Located 28 kilometers west of Nowy Targ and 65 kilometers south of Kraków, the village connects to major transportation routes through the KNT vehicle registration area.
The village forms part of the Black Sea drainage basin through its connection to three rivers: the Orava, Váh, and Danube.
