Cmentarz Ofiar Gór w Karkonoszach

The cemetery of mountain victims sits at about 1300 meters (4265 feet) elevation in the Lomniczkikumme and features a 2.4-meter metal cross with memorial plaques. The site lies within the Karkonosze Mountains and is accessible through marked hiking routes.

The memorial was established in 1986 by the Sudeten Mountain Guides Association to honor people who died in the Karkonosze Mountains. Its creation grew from a desire to centralize remembrance of mountain accidents and rescues.

The place is named to honor mountain victims and draws gatherings of local guides and rescue workers every November 1st to pay respects. This annual gathering shows how deeply the mountain community values remembrance of those lost.

The site is accessible from Karpacz by following red and yellow marked trails, with several route options available. Proper hiking boots and preparation for cold weather are important since the elevation and mountain conditions can be demanding.
