Treblinka Museum, Historical museum in Masovian Voivodeship, Poland
The Treblinka Museum preserves the memory of victims through exhibitions, documents, and personal belongings recovered from the former Nazi extermination camp site.
The museum opened in 1964 at the location of a Nazi German death camp that operated between July 1942 and October 1943, where 800,000 people perished.
The memorial features 17,000 granite stones emerging from the ground, representing the communities that lost their members during the camp's operation.
Visitors can reach the museum by taking a train from Warsaw to Małkinia station, followed by a 10-kilometer taxi ride to the museum grounds.
The exhibition space includes a 2-kilometer educational trail connecting the locations of Treblinka II extermination camp and Treblinka I labor camp.
