Сквер Миндовского

Mindovsky Square is a recreation park in Perm's industrial district organized around multiple pathways and birch-lined routes with distinct zones for rest and outdoor enjoyment. The park includes children's play areas and open spaces designed for various leisure activities.

The square was founded in 1962 as the Square of the 22nd CPSU Congress and later received its current name in honor of Valentin Mindovsky. This change reflected evolving priorities in how the city recognized important figures and moments.

The park features four metal sculptures that form an open-air gallery celebrating local stories and creative expression. Visitors often pause at these artworks while walking through, making them a natural gathering point during their visit.

The park is accessible from Mira Street, Snipers Street, and Soviet Army Street with multiple entry points throughout the grounds. Visiting during daylight hours lets you enjoy the pathways, sculptures, and play areas more comfortably.

An old AN-24 aircraft sits within the park grounds, with its fuselage and wings creating a sheltered space for a small café underneath. This repurposed plane gives the park an unexpected landmark that many visitors find memorable.
