Ivan the Terrible granted this building to English merchants in 1556, establishing it as the first foreign diplomatic mission in Moscow.
The museum exhibits demonstrate the evolution of English-Russian relations through original furniture, historical documents, and period-specific artifacts.
The museum opens daily from 10:00 to 18:00, with admission tickets costing 350 rubles for adults and 175 rubles for students.
The restoration work in 2013-2014 revealed original architectural elements from the 16th century, including medieval stone walls and wooden beams.
