The garden maintains over 2,000 plant species, including 400 varieties of woody plants and 700 types of ornamental flowers across its landscaped grounds.
Established in 1731 by sixteen-year-old Grigory Demidov, this garden became Russia's first private botanical collection, featuring plants from Africa and America.
The garden continues the scientific legacy of the Demidov family through research programs, plant introduction studies, and preservation of rare species.
The garden welcomes visitors throughout the year and hosts the annual Demidov Flora Festival in August, with special winter displays of snow sculptures.
The collection includes 40 plant species from the Perm Region Red Book and 36 species from the Russian Federation Red Book.
