Krasnodar Eparchial School

The Krasnodar Eparchial School is a late 19th-century educational building in Krasnodar designed by Ivan Klementievitch Malherbe using traditional Russian architectural elements. The structure exhibits the construction methods and materials typical of its era and currently serves the Kuban State Medical University.

The building was founded in the late 1800s under Orthodox Church guidance as a notable step forward for women's education in southern Russia. Over time its purpose evolved and it eventually became part of a medical institution.

The school started as a center for Orthodox religious teaching and shows how educational purposes shifted in Russian society while the building remained in use. Today visitors can observe how the space bridges its past role with its current function.
