Yablonovskiy bridge, Road bridge across Kuban River in Krasnodar, Russia.
The Yablonovskiy Bridge is a road bridge spanning the Kuban River, connecting Krasnodar with Yablonovsky settlement in the Republic of Adygea. It features four traffic lanes, sidewalks for pedestrians, cycling paths, and accommodates public transport services.
A wooden bridge stood here since 1887 but was destroyed during World War II in 1942. The current structure was built after the war and completed in 1952.
The bridge links two regions with distinct communities living on either side of the river. People from both areas cross here daily, making it an important meeting point between populations.
The bridge was recently rebuilt and reopened in 2023 with modern facilities. Visitors can cross on foot, by bike, or use various public transport options that operate here.
The bridge serves as a hub for multiple transportation modes, with Krasnodar's Southern Bus Station located at one end. This makes it far more than just a crossing, turning it into a major transport interchange.
