Tampines Regional Library, Regional library at Our Tampines Hub, Singapore
Tampines Regional Library is a regional library in Tampines West, Singapore, housed within the Our Tampines Hub complex across five floors. Each floor serves a different purpose, with sections for children, teens, and adults alongside study and reading areas.
The library first opened in 1994 at Tampines Avenue 7 before moving to its current location inside Our Tampines Hub in 2017. The new building gave it more space and updated facilities compared to the original site.
The library holds specialized collections of Chinese literature and materials about overseas Chinese communities. These holdings reflect Singapore's diverse cultural roots and literary traditions.
The library sits close to Tampines MRT station, making it easy to reach by public transport. Once inside Our Tampines Hub, follow the signs for the library, as the complex is large and covers many different facilities.
Some reading spots in the library come with stationary bicycles positioned to overlook a sports field below. A walking path runs through the building so visitors can stay active while browsing the collections.
