Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Church of the Nativity features Neo-Gothic architecture with pointed arches, twin rows of Corinthian columns, and numerous stained-glass windows along its 63-meter structure.

Father Ambrose Maistre established the first attap chapel in 1853, which was later replaced by a brick structure to serve the growing Catholic population.

The church maintains a strong connection with the Teochew Catholic community, providing religious services in the Teochew dialect since 1971.

Located at 1259 Upper Serangoon Road, the church serves 6,000 regular parishioners and offers additional services for 1,200 Korean Catholic community members.

A marble statue of the Virgin Mary, donated by the Sultan of Johor, stands at the main entrance with angel figurines since December 1947.
