Yio Chu Kang Stadium

Yio Chu Kang Stadium is a multi-purpose sports venue in Ang Mo Kio with an eight-lane running track that surrounds a rugby field. The facility accommodates approximately 2000 spectators and serves primarily for school competitions and local sporting events.

The facility opened on April 1, 1985, and quickly became a central sports venue for the Ang Mo Kio district. Since then, it has established itself as an important location for regional and national sporting competitions.

The facility serves as a gathering place for school athletic competitions that bring students from neighboring schools together throughout the year. Visitors often come to support young athletes and watch local sporting talent develop in this community space.

The facility opens daily at 4:30 AM and closes at 8:30 PM, with direct access from Yio Chu Kang MRT station nearby. It is easily accessible and well-connected by public transportation.

In December 2015, the stadium hosted a U-19 Asia Rugby Championship match between Singapore and Hong Kong national teams. This event drew rugby enthusiasts from across the region and highlighted the venue's importance for international competitions.
