Pasir Ris Park, Coastal park in Pasir Ris, Singapore.
Pasir Ris Park is a 70-hectare green space along Singapore's eastern coast with extensive cycling paths and multiple gardens. A 6-hectare mangrove forest with wooden boardwalks forms the natural heart of the site.
Construction of this park started in 1984 with help from Japanese landscape designers. It opened in stages between 1986 and 1991 to serve the eastern part of Singapore.
The Kitchen Garden displays herbs and plants used across Singapore's food traditions. Visitors can see how local cooking customs connect with the natural surroundings.
The park is open 24 hours daily, with Carpark C offering over 2,500 parking spaces and easy access from Pasir Ris Road or Jalan Loyang Besar. The wide network of paths makes it simple to explore different areas, and multiple entrances allow you to plan flexible routes.
A three-story bird watching tower lets visitors observe native species like White-collared Kingfishers and Blue-throated Bee-eaters in their natural surroundings. The elevated platform provides a vantage point over the mangrove areas and waterways, making wildlife sightings more likely.
