Dragon's Fury, Steel roller coaster in Chessington, England.
Dragon's Fury is a steel roller coaster in Chessington with cars that rotate independently while moving through the ride. The train travels through multiple hills and helices on steel tracks, with each rotating car holding four riders.
The ride opened in 2004 as a major attraction in the Land of the Dragons area at Chessington World of Adventures. It was manufactured by Maurer AG, a well-known maker of amusement park rides.
The ride uses dragon mythology in its design, linking with the fantasy setting of the park area. Visitors see dragon sculptures and themed decorations throughout the section that bring the mythological world to life.
The ride has a minimum height requirement of 120 centimeters for safety. Wear loose clothing and secure any loose items, as the spinning and speed can be intense.
Each train has eight individual cars arranged in two rows facing opposite directions. This creates completely different ride experiences depending on which direction passengers face during the journey.
