Tiny Truckers

Tiny Truckers is a children's amusement ride at Chessington World of Adventures where small trucks travel along a guided track. Kids sit in front operating steering wheels while adults occupy the rear seats, sharing the experience together.

The ride opened in 1993 under the original name ToyTown Truckers before being renamed to its current title. This Zamperla-manufactured attraction represented part of the theme park's evolution toward hands-on experiences for younger visitors.

This family attraction represents a shift in theme park design toward incorporating elements that allow children to experience simulated real-world activities.

Each truck seats up to four passengers with flexible arrangements such as two adults with two children or one adult with three children. This lets families of different sizes ride together and share the journey.

The steering wheels create the impression that children are controlling the truck, yet invisible electric rails automatically guide the entire route. This maintains a convincing illusion of control that feels real to young drivers.
