North Quay, London, Office development in Canary Wharf, London, England
North Quay is an office development in Canary Wharf with three towers that reach up to 221 meters in height. The complex sits on a large site with mixed-use purposes, positioned north of Crossrail Place.
The site functioned as an open parking lot until 2006, then became the construction area for the Crossrail station. This transformation repurposed a long-empty space into a modern center.
The development creates new public spaces and improves waterfront access, strengthening connections between the Canary Wharf and South Poplar neighborhoods. These paths allow visitors and residents to experience the waterside in a more open way.
The site is easily reached by public transit, especially through the Crossrail connection directly below. Visitors should know that the complex covers a large area and takes time to explore thoroughly.
The complex includes a specialized life sciences facility developed with Kadans Science Partner. This marks a notable shift away from the traditional office spaces that otherwise dominate Canary Wharf.
