Valleyfair

Valleyfair sits between the Minnesota River and Blue Lake and offers 72 attractions, including roller coasters, family rides, and a water park area called Soak City. The grounds divide into several themed zones with rides suited to different age groups and preferences.

The park opened its gates in 1976 as a regional entertainment facility in the Midwest. Over the following decades, it expanded its offerings by adding new roller coasters and the water park zone.

Throughout the season, this entertainment venue hosts live performances in several themed areas and organizes seasonal festivities like Halloween Haunt and WinterFest. Guests experience changing decorations and specially designed shows during these events.

Visitors reach the grounds by regular bus services from Minneapolis-St. Paul or by car using extensive parking areas. On weekends and during school holidays, arriving earlier helps avoid longer waiting times.

During flooding from the Minnesota River, operations continue with temporary entrances and alternative parking areas. This flexibility allows normal routines to proceed even under difficult conditions.
