Mad Mouse

Mad Mouse is a steel roller coaster at Valleyfair that moves through tight turns and sudden directional changes with sharp lateral movements. The ride uses individual cars that navigate a compact track layout designed to maximize thrills in a smaller footprint.

The ride was installed at Valleyfair in 1999, replacing an earlier coaster called Rails that had operated in the park. This addition reflected the park's investment in refreshing its attraction lineup with contemporary ride technology.

The Mad Mouse represents a modern interpretation of traditional wild mouse coasters, featuring tight turns and sudden drops that create lateral forces.

The park tends to have shorter wait times on weekdays and outside peak seasons, making these better times to experience the ride. Comfortable footwear is recommended since exploring the park involves considerable walking between attractions.

The individual cars were specifically designed by Ride Centerline, giving each rider a separate seating position without shared armrests. This setup creates a more vulnerable and personal sensation compared to traditional coaster trains.
