Beck-Warren House, Greek Revival residence in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The Beck-Warren House features a front-facing gable roof with single-story side-gabled wings and smooth Doric columns supporting the front porch.
Built in 1833 for Professor Charles Beck, the house was later acquired by Sanskrit scholar Henry Clarke Warren before being donated to Harvard University in 1899.
The interior design merges Greek Revival and Colonial Revival architectural elements, reflecting the evolution of American residential construction styles in the 19th century.
Located on the west side of Prescott Street within Harvard's campus, the building currently functions as office space for university departments.
The structure underwent specific modifications during Henry Warren's ownership to accommodate his physical disabilities while maintaining its architectural integrity.
