Carr Creek State Park

Carr Creek State Park extends across 29 acres of land with a 750-acre lake offering recreational opportunities for water sports and outdoor activities.

The Kentucky Department of Parks established this recreational area in 1997 to provide additional outdoor facilities in the eastern part of the state.

The park functions as a central gathering place where Kentucky families participate in outdoor traditions through camping, fishing, and seasonal celebrations.

Visitors can access a 39-site campground, rent boats at the full-service marina, and utilize the 480-foot beach for swimming during warmer months.

The park contains the longest beach in the Kentucky state park system, stretching 480 feet along the shoreline of Carr Creek Lake.
