Epic Center

Epic Center is a modern high-rise with 22 floors and a sleek glass facade that rises 117 meters above downtown Wichita. The structure provides roughly 28,000 square meters (298,000 sq ft) of office space serving various law firms and government agencies.

Construction began in 1985 with initial plans for twin towers that were redesigned into a single building during development. This shift reflected economic considerations that shaped the final form of the structure.

The building houses federal agencies including Secret Service and FBI offices, making it a significant administrative hub for the region. This presence shapes how locals view the structure as more than just a workplace.

The building is accessible through multiple entrances and features six elevators to move people through the various floors. Good access points make it straightforward to reach the offices located inside.

Locals humorously called the project 'Epic Off-Center' after the original twin tower plans were converted to a single structure during construction. This nickname wryly captures the surprise redesign that transformed the project.
