Wichita Scottish Rite Center

The Wichita Scottish Rite Center is a four-story stone building with Romanesque Revival architecture located at the intersection of First Street and Topeka Avenue. The building was originally constructed in 1887 as a YMCA facility and was acquired by Scottish Rite Freemasons in 1898. Significant expansions in 1907 and 1956 shaped its present form and expanded its capacity.
