First National Bank Building, Art Deco skyscraper in downtown Saint Paul, United States

The First National Bank Building rises 417 feet with 32 floors, featuring Indiana limestone facades and aluminum framed windows at 332 Minnesota Street.

Constructed between 1930 and 1931, this structure replaced the 16-story Merchants Bank Building after First National Bank acquired Merchants National Bank.

The building exhibits Art Deco architectural elements through its stepped design, geometric patterns, and ornamental details that represent 1930s American construction methods.

The structure contains office spaces, retail areas, and connects to neighboring buildings through the Twin Cities' highest elevated skyway system.

A 50-foot-tall illuminated sign reading '1st' sits atop the building, utilizing color-changing LED technology visible from 75 miles away at night.
