Wabasha Street Bridge

The Wabasha Street Bridge spans the Mississippi River in Saint Paul with separate lanes for traffic moving in each direction. The structure provides wide sidewalks where pedestrians can walk safely while viewing the river and city surroundings.

An iron bridge built in 1889 originally crossed the river at this location before being replaced by the current structure in 1998. The transition marked a shift toward modern infrastructure while maintaining the bridge's importance as a major city crossing.
