The facility opened in 1998 after a $75 million construction project, replacing the demolished St. Paul Civic Center and connecting to the renovated Roy Wilkins Auditorium from 1932.
The center hosts diverse events including automotive shows, fashion exhibitions, educational conferences, and musical performances by renowned artists like Bruno Mars and Dave Matthews Band.
The venue offers direct loading docks, ample parking facilities, ADA-compliant accessibility features, and proximity to downtown hotels and restaurants for visitor convenience.
The facility was among the first in the region to achieve LEED, Green Globes, and EIC certifications while implementing front-of-house organics composting for event guests.
