Hardy Bridge

Hardy Bridge is a steel structure that crosses the Missouri River using three truss spans and features a flat concrete deck. The bridge provides a direct crossing for vehicles between the riverbanks.

The bridge was built in 1931 during Montana's period of automobile-driven infrastructure expansion. It became part of the transportation routes that connected communities across the state during the early automotive era.

The structure takes its name from the former Hardy settlement, which developed near Pine Island Rapids as a transportation hub in central Montana.
