One Kennedy Square

One Kennedy Square is a triangular office building with 10 stories and emerald green glass walls in downtown Detroit. A white spire extends roughly 250 feet and creates a distinctive point on the city's skyline.

The structure was completed in 2006 on the former site of Detroit City Hall. Its arrival marked a shift toward modern architecture in that section of downtown.

The building houses a major accounting firm's headquarters and has become part of Detroit's financial district identity. Its presence shapes how people move through and perceive this downtown neighborhood.

The building sits at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue and is easy to reach by public transit. An underground parking facility beneath the plaza offers plenty of parking spaces.

The design uses cantilevered sections hung from above rather than supported by columns below. This approach frees up interior space and creates an interesting structural solution.
