Peoria City Hall

The building was constructed in the late 1800s and officially dedicated in 1899, marking Peoria's growth as a city. Residents placed personal items into the cornerstone during construction, creating a record of the community at that moment in time.

The main hall contains a statue from 1889 titled 'Love Knows No Caste' by Fritz Triebel and a 1912 mural showing learning, peace, and medicine. These artworks shape how the building feels inside and reflect values the community holds dear.
