Peter Herdic House

The mansion was built between 1855 and 1856 for a lumber baron who later became the city's fourth mayor. This businessman played a significant role in the town's economic expansion during the timber boom of the 1800s.

The house sits on a street that once housed the region's wealthiest timber merchants, and its name still reflects that prosperous era. Visitors can sense how the local elite lived and what role such mansions played in demonstrating their status within the community.
