Scandinavian Heritage Park, Scandinavian heritage museum in Minot, North Dakota.

Scandinavian Heritage Park is a 14-acre museum site in Minot with buildings, monuments, and statues representing Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The collection displays architectural styles and cultural objects from these five countries in one location.

The site was founded in 1988 and received its first dedicated structure in October 1990, marking the beginning of continuous expansion. Since then, the collection has grown through the gradual addition of further structures and monuments.

The park displays a Norwegian stave church, a Finnish sauna, and a Danish windmill that together represent the craftsmanship traditions of Scandinavian peoples. These buildings and objects allow visitors to experience directly the different building styles and ways of life from each country.

The site can be visited during daylight hours with open paths leading through the various structures and monuments. An information center on site offers orientation and background information about the displayed elements.

An 8-meter-tall red Swedish Dala horse stands on the grounds as the largest representation of this folk figure in North America. This oversized wooden horse is one of the most photographed features of the park and attracts attention from visitors worldwide.
