The Teatro Fox Delicias features multiple levels with white walls, large windows, and geometric patterns characteristic of 1930s architecture.
Pedro Juan Serralles initiated the construction of this movie theater in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox, leading to its inauguration in 1931.
The theater served as a primary entertainment venue for Ponce residents from 1931 to 1980, screening numerous films from major Hollywood studios.
The building underwent renovations in 1991, transforming the space into a shopping center with 26 commercial spaces across 30,000 square feet.
Architect Francisco Porrata-Doria incorporated both Art Deco and Spanish Colonial elements into the structure's exterior design.
