Harborside Financial Center, Financial complex in Jersey City, United States
Harborside Financial Center is a large office complex on the Hudson River waterfront in Jersey City, New Jersey, made up of several connected buildings. It includes office floors, retail spaces, and parking spread across multiple levels.
The site was first developed with three eight-story buildings placed directly along the Hudson River shore. A major renovation finished in 2022 brought the facilities up to date throughout the entire development.
The complex features open waterfront pathways that allow visitors and residents to access the Hudson River shore and gather in public spaces. These walkways serve as meeting points where people naturally pass through throughout the day.
The complex is easy to reach by public transit, with PATH trains and ferry services running directly to and from Manhattan. Because the site covers several connected sections, it helps to allow some extra walking time when moving between buildings.
Plaza 5, designed by Grad Associates, is the tallest tower in the complex at 34 floors and holds close to 1 million sq ft (about 93,000 sq m) of office space. Its modern outline makes it easy to spot from across the river in Manhattan.
