Barrow Mansion is a 19th-century house in Jersey City with Greek Revival style architecture characterized by classical elements. The exterior features five Ionic columns across the front, while inside you find Italian marble details, tall ceilings, and multiple rooms designed for events.
The house was built between 1835 and 1837 by Cornelius Van Vorst during the early years of Jersey City's growth. In 1890 it was converted to a YMCA facility, which added recreational and athletic features to the property.
Today it serves as a home for theater productions and community gatherings where people experience live performances and participate in local events. The venue hosts groups and artistic activities that connect neighbors throughout the year.
