Hoboken Historical Museum, Historical museum in Hoboken, United States.
The Hoboken Historical Museum displays photographs, documents, and artifacts that chronicle the development of this New Jersey waterfront city through generations.
Founded in 1986, the museum relocated in 2001 to 1301 Hudson Street, occupying the final remaining structure of the former Bethlehem Steel Hoboken Shipyard.
The museum maintains an Oral History Project, recording memories from residents about local shops, movie theaters, jazz clubs, and ethnic traditions in Hoboken.
Located at 1301 Hudson Street, the museum opens six days per week with an admission fee of $5, while children and members enter free.
The building housing the museum functioned as a trolley repair shop in 1890, adding historical significance to the physical structure itself.
