Nebraska Raceway Park, tor wyścigowy (Stany Zjednoczone)
Nebraska Raceway Park, also known as I-80 Speedway, is a motorsport racing track in Greenwood featuring an oval dirt surface that runs less than half a mile around. The facility included parking areas, viewing sections for spectators, and basic amenities such as concessions for both drivers and visitors.
The track opened in 1994 and served as a center for local and regional motorsport events for nearly 30 years before closing in 2023. The closure occurred when the land was sold for commercial development including shopping centers and other businesses.
The raceway served as a gathering place where the local community came together to share their passion for racing across generations. The straightforward setting reflected a grassroots racing culture where drivers and spectators alike kept their focus on the sport itself.
The facility was easily accessible from Interstate 80 and offered parking areas along with basic concessions for visitors. Spectators should bring their own seating such as chairs or blankets to enjoy the best view of the racing action.
Beyond the main oval, the site featured Little Sunset Speedway, a smaller go-kart track for beginners and children, as well as a dirt motocross track for motorcycles. These multiple racing surfaces allowed different types of motorsport activities to take place at a single location.
