Highline Ballroom was a music venue in Chelsea with capacity for around 700 attendees. The space featured a central stage equipped with advanced lighting technology and professional audio systems for live performances.
The venue operated at 431 West 16th Street until February 2019, when it closed after a final performance by The Roots. The location was later reopened as Racket NYC, continuing its role in Manhattan's music scene.
The space hosted performers from many musical styles including alternative, electronic, folk, hip-hop, indie, pop, rock, and world music. Visitors encountered a wide range of sounds and artistic directions in a single location.
The venue was wheelchair accessible via ramps and elevators, making it easy for all visitors to enter the space. Regular hours extended into the evening on weekdays, with extended times available on weekends for event scheduling.
