One Riverside Park, Residential skyscraper in Upper West Side, Manhattan, United States
One Riverside Park is a 33-story residential building at 50 Riverside Boulevard with glass and stone facades facing the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline. The tower holds over 270 units and offers residents access to extensive amenities including a screening room, game room, fitness center, and an underground connection to an athletic club.
The project started in 2013 under Hill West Architects and was completed in 2015, opening to residents in 2016. The development represented a major new residential addition along the riverside in this part of Manhattan.
The building mixes residential units at different price points, contributing to the city's housing diversity. This blend is visible in daily life through the varied residents who share common spaces and amenities.
Building access connects to well-equipped shared spaces, and the underground tunnel enables convenient use of connected facilities without stepping outside. Note that this is a private residential complex, so access is limited to residents and invited guests only.
Some apartments in the building feature private swimming pools, a rare feature for Manhattan residential buildings. These pools are built into units in the upper floors, offering unexpected luxury in a densely built city.
