Widder Hotel

The Widder Hotel is a five-star hotel in Zurich's Old Town, occupying nine interconnected medieval townhouses. The property contains 49 individually designed rooms and suites with modern facilities and artistic touches throughout.

The buildings date back to medieval times and were originally constructed as separate residences. In 1984, UBS purchased the properties and commissioned Swiss designer Tilla Theus to transform them into a modern hotel complex.

The hotel displays artworks by notable artists such as Giacometti, Warhol, and Rauschenberg in its conference rooms and common areas. This collection becomes part of the daily experience and adds a creative dimension that sets the space apart from typical hotel environments.
