Xingjiao Temple, Buddhist temple in Jianchuan County, China
The temple structures include the Devajara Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and three brick pagodas situated on different sides of the complex.
The temple received its name when Emperor Tang Suzong inscribed the characters 'Xing Jiao' on the stupa, marking the significance of Buddhist teachings in 669 AD.
The Sutra-Keeping Pavilion contains thousands of religious manuscripts from multiple Chinese dynasties, preserving centuries of Buddhist literature and teachings.
The central Devajara Hall houses a 3.2-meter bronze Sakyamuni statue from the Ming Dynasty, while the Sermon Hall contains a 9-meter sleeping Buddha figure.
The temple contains three distinct brick pagodas, with the central structure holding colored statues and a detailed biographical plaque of Xuanzang.
