The five-story wooden structure rises 33 meters high, supported by 16 columns measuring 22 meters each, displaying traditional Chinese architecture.
The pavilion underwent reconstruction in 1997 when the Lijiang area received its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The structure features 2,300 decorative patterns representing 23 ethnic groups of Lijiang, with 9,999 dragon motifs carved into its walls.
Visitors can access the pavilion by walking along Sifang Street and climbing stone steps for 30 minutes, with operating hours from 07:00 to 20:00.
From the top level, guests observe Yulong Snow Mountain to the north, Lijiang Ancient Town to the east, and rural landscapes to the south.
