Luther Church, Protestant church in Paradies district, Konstanz, Germany
The Luther Church stands outside the historic old town with an imposing bell tower and decorative architectural elements typical of 19th-century religious buildings.
The church construction started in 1865 and concluded in 1873, with Grand Duke Friedrich I of Baden donating three bells for the new Protestant place of worship.
The Luther Church hosts the Bach Choir of Konstanz and maintains a 33-register organ across four manuals, including a special Bombarde division added in 1980.
Regular Saturday afternoon concerts take place in the church, which underwent major renovations in 1979 including the installation of a larger gallery.
A memorial to Jan Hus was unveiled near the church in 2015, marking the 600th anniversary of his death during the Council of Constance.
