St. Peter und Paul

St. Peter and Paul Church is a modern church building in Veltheim that combines traditional design with contemporary artistic elements. The interior features a central blue cross made of mouth-blown glass positioned behind the altar, while various glass art installations are distributed throughout the space.

The church building was constructed following the merger of three congregations from Veltheim, Vennebeck, and Hausberge in 2015. It serves as a unified place of worship for the combined communities.

Seven light panels in the front section depict the Creation story through abstract artistic interpretations. Visitors can observe how these modern works blend faith with contemporary expression during services or quiet moments of reflection.

Services are held regularly on Sundays and Wednesdays and can also be followed online through the church's IPTV portal or YouTube channel. Visitors can choose to attend in person or participate from home.

The interior features multiple glass art installations that merge contemporary design with sacred space in an unusual way. This blend of modern and traditional elements makes the place stand out.
